الجديد
2.8.30 · Stable, 4 Oct 2026
- Your EFB inside the simulator: the Vaeroly panel in MSFS's toolbar now has tabs. Checklist shows your flight's EFB checklist: tap an item to tick it or clear it, and the tick shows on the web EFB, in the app's EFB window and on your phone too. Messages shows dispatch's messages and datalink uplinks. Plan shows your flight plan: departure, arrival, alternate, aircraft, route, cruise level, block fuel, enroute time and distance. Flight is the view you know. Your airline needs the EFB switched on. The panel updates itself the next time you start the simulator.
- Fixes for the new window: closing it during a flight no longer freezes it on the Mac; a double click on Start can't start the flight twice; Windows without Microsoft's WebView2 opens the classic window instead of a blank one; the bookings list and buttons respond while the window refreshes; the compact strip no longer freezes the window on Windows; the arrow in the EFB window stays in the EFB; a booking cancelled on the website is cleared instead of flown.
2.8.29 · Stable, 4 Oct 2026
- A new window: on Windows and the Mac, Vaeroly opens in a new window with a side bar (Flight, Dispatch, Log, Simulator, Settings). Before the flight it shows what's ready; in flight your phase, altitude, distance to go and the altitude flown so far; after landing a box for notes to staff, sent with your PIREP; and at the end your PIREP's result. The compact view keeps a small strip on top of the simulator. Everything the old window did is still there. Settings › Window goes back to the classic window (from the next start); Linux keeps it.
- Arabic on Windows too: in the new window, the app's screens come in Arabic on Windows as well as the Mac, right to left, when Arabic is your language on the website. Settings › Language picks another one for this computer and changes it at once. The classic window on Windows stays in English.
إصدارات سابقة
2.8.28 · Stable, 4 Oct 2026
- Arabic on the Mac only, until the new window: on Windows, the app's screens showed Arabic letters apart and not right to left, so the app stays in English on Windows until its new window arrives. On the Mac, Arabic works as before.
2.8.27 · Stable, 4 Oct 2026
- The app is called Vaeroly: the window, its dialogs and the simulator panel now say Vaeroly. Your settings, sign-in and saved flights stay where they are.
- The EFB inside the app: the new EFB button next to Refresh opens your airline's EFB in its own window, already signed in, for the airline of your booked flight. It keeps the last copy of your EFB, so your flight stays readable if the internet drops, and shows the same as the EFB on your phone or in the browser. On Linux it opens in your browser.
- In Arabic: on the Mac, the app's screens now come in Arabic too, right to left, when Arabic is your language on the website. Settings › Language picks another one for this computer (from the next start). The flight log's technical lines stay in English.
- Microsoft Store: on Windows, Vaeroly will also come from the Microsoft Store. Once your airline's site points there, this copy asks you once (never during a flight) whether to open the Store page. It keeps working and updating either way, and the Store copy uses the same settings and saved flights.
2.8.26 · Stable, 3 Oct 2026
- Pick the flight to fly: if you have bookings open with more than one airline, a list under your flight lets you choose which one ACARS flies. With one booking, nothing changes.
- Landing figures that agree: the touchdown speed and pitch at the top of your PIREP and in the touchdown table now come from the same moment. After a bounce, the landing G is your first touchdown's; the bounce shows its own G on its own row.
- Heights from the wheels: in Microsoft Flight Simulator and X-Plane, the height above the ground (the landing report from 2,000 ft down, the flare and the stable-approach checks) is now measured from your wheels, not from the middle of the aircraft, which sits several feet higher.
- A landing ACARS didn't see: when the touchdown falls in a gap in the data, ACARS no longer files the last approach figure (for example -1,200 fpm) as your landing rate. The landing shows as not measured, staff are told, and it doesn't count in your landing averages.
- Tail strikes by aircraft type: long aircraft such as the A321, 737-900, 757-300, 777-300 and A340-600 are now checked at their own, lower tail-strike angle, at touchdown too.
- Messages in the air: a message from dispatch no longer pops up a window while you fly. It shows in the log and under Message dispatch, and the taskbar button flashes.
- Closing ACARS mid-flight: when you open ACARS again and carry on, the time it was closed still counts as flown, and your PIREP now says how long it was.
- Sharper on Windows: the window is no longer blurry when Windows display scaling is above 100%. On Mac and Linux it uses your system's fonts.
- When something goes wrong: ACARS now keeps a log of its own errors on your computer, next to the flight logs. If it closes on an error, it offers to send the report the next time it starts, and only sends it if you say yes (or have error reports switched on).
- Smaller fixes: the start of the flight log says "lights not reported" when your aircraft doesn't report its lights, instead of "lights off". With FSUIPC, the lift-off heading is now magnetic, so it matches the runway number. Settings has an About box with the version and the terms of use. Updates refuse a release older than one already seen.
2.8.25 · Stable, 3 Oct 2026
- Windows 11 shows as Windows 11: your PIREP's "Recorded with" box (and an error report, if you send them) said "Windows 10" on Windows 11, because Windows 11 still calls itself version 10. ACARS now goes by the build number and shows it too, for example "Windows 11 (build 22631)".
2.8.24 · Stable, 3 Oct 2026
- Cabin sounds for your booked airline only: ACARS now downloads the cabin sound pack of the airline you are booked on or flying for, not of every airline you belong to. With no booking, nothing new is downloaded and the pack of your last booked airline stays in use. When you book with another airline, its pack is downloaded, and the packs of your other airlines are removed from your computer once it is ready.
- Settings › Cabin sounds: the language list and the Test button use that one pack, and a line says whose pack is in use ("Using the sound pack of Example Air.").
2.8.23 · Stable, 3 Oct 2026
- Fairer flight phases: one gust on the approach no longer counts as a go-around (and no longer plays the go-around announcement). A fast taxi is no longer taken for the take-off roll, so the safety demonstration plays to the end. A step down in the cruise reads "Step down to FL350" instead of starting the descent an hour early, and the top of descent now shows when the descent really begins. A level flight below 10,000 ft (FL090 in a Dash 8 or an ATR) now counts as the cruise.
- Rejected take-offs: stopping a take-off from 60 kt or more shows in the flight log, and the next take-off counts as normal.
- Mountains are not the approach: flying down over high ground far from your airports no longer starts the approach or checks the 1,000 ft and 500 ft gates there.
- Parking brake stuck on "set": on aircraft that always report the parking brake as set, ACARS now sees the taxi when the aircraft moves under its own power, so block off and the taxi time are right.
- No penalty for a switch that flickers: the beacon, lights and transponder checks follow the flight log, so a half-second flicker while your aircraft loads no longer costs points with nothing in the log to show for it.
- The runway exit: after landing, the log says "Runway roll-out complete" at 40 kt, and the taxi speed check starts once you are off the runway, so a fast exit taxiway no longer costs points.
- X-Plane: the transponder in TA or TA/RA now counts as on. ACARS now reads your aircraft's name and registration, so aircraft profiles and the aircraft wizard work on X-Plane. Watching the replay no longer adds a go-around and a second landing. The seat belt switch shows OFF, AUTO or ON, and your take-off and landing weights show on the PIREP.
- Microsoft Flight Simulator: the transponder is now read, so its mode shows in the log ("Transponder ALT"). Your take-off and landing weights now show on the PIREP.
- FSUIPC: pitot heat and the seat belt sign are no longer read as "off" when your simulator doesn't report them.
- A321 flap limits: the A321 and A321neo now use their own flap speeds, not the A320's.
- A clearer flight log: "Beacon on (on the ground)", "Step climb to FL360", one line when the engines start, the lift-off heading as on your compass, and "Resumed after the pause" when you unpause. The touchdown rate from the simulator gets its own line when it comes in a moment later.
- No flight thrown away by mistake: answering "No" to "Stop tracking?" or "Continue flight?" now asks once more before the flight is deleted from your computer.
- Updates: ACARS installs only the builds meant for the update channel you picked. Cabin sound packs with file names that Windows keeps for itself are refused.
2.8.22 · Stable, 2 Oct 2026
- The spoiler lever, all the way: the flight log said only where the speed brake first came out (for example 15%). Moving it further now shows too, once the lever settles: "Spoilers 50%", "Spoilers 100%".
- Flaps in your aircraft's own words: the log names the flap setting as your aircraft's lever does (1, 2, 3, FULL on an Airbus; 1, 5, 15, 30 on a Boeing), also on add-ons that count their lever positions differently. It no longer mixes those with percentages.
- The seat belt sign: switching the "Fasten seat belts" sign on or off now shows in the flight log (Microsoft Flight Simulator, FSUIPC and X-Plane), and the aircraft wizard can check it on your aircraft.
2.8.21 · Stable, 2 Oct 2026
- Cabin announcements in .ogg now play in flight: in 2.8.20 an .ogg sound pack downloaded and its Test button worked, but the flight itself stayed silent. Update to hear the announcements at each phase.
- A readable Language list: in Settings › Cabin sounds, the Language list was pale grey on light grey in the Mac's dark mode. It now matches the rest of the app on every computer.
- Made in Riyadh: the bottom of the window now says who builds Vaeroly ACARS.
2.8.20 · Stable, 2 Oct 2026
- Cabin sound packs in .ogg: your airline's cabin announcements can now come as Ogg Vorbis files, the format most simulator sound packs use. ACARS converts them once, when it downloads the pack, and plays them as before. Packs in .ogg reach ACARS 2.8.20 and later only, so update to hear them.
2.8.19 · Stable, 2 Oct 2026
- Updates you can trust: ACARS now installs an update only when Vaeroly's signed release list names that exact file. If a download were ever swapped or damaged on the way, ACARS refuses it and keeps the version you have. Nothing changes in how you update: the app still offers new versions as before.
2.8.18 · Stable, 2 Oct 2026
- Cabin announcements from your airline: when an airline you fly for publishes a cabin sound pack, ACARS downloads it by itself and plays it at the matching moments of your flight: boarding, doors closed, pushback, the safety demonstration, take-off, passing 10,000 ft, the cruise, top of descent, the approach, a go-around, arrival and at the gate. Each airline's pack has its own folder on your computer, and a new version is fetched in the background before your flight.
- Packs from your airline's own link: the pack is downloaded from wherever your airline's staff host it (Google Drive and Dropbox links work). Your Vaeroly sign-in is never sent there. ACARS checks the file is exactly the one your staff checked, and says so in the log if the link has changed or opens a web page instead.
- You stay in control: Settings › Cabin sounds switches them on or off, sets the volume and the language, and has Test and Stop buttons. "Mute announcements" on the Flight tab silences them for one flight. Each announcement also shows as a line in the flight log.
- Never in the way: announcements wait while the simulator is paused or slewing, are skipped under time acceleration, never play twice when a flight is resumed, and never slow down tracking.
2.8.17 · Stable, 2 Oct 2026
- One odd reading no longer costs the PIREP or the live map: an impossible value from the simulator (a negative airspeed, a G load of 40) is left out before it is sent. If the crew centre still can't take a reading, ACARS files the PIREP again without it instead of moving it to the failed folder, and a position report it can't take is left out so the others still reach the live map.
- Blank readings don't stop tracking: a reading the simulator leaves blank counts as not measured for that moment. Before, it could stop tracking mid-flight with an error.
- Steadier tracking: position reports and the hourly time check go out in the background, so a slow crew centre never delays the sampling (around the touchdown in particular).
- Aircraft change check: a moment where the simulator gives only the aircraft's name or only its type no longer counts as changing aircraft. A real change is still noticed after a few seconds.
- Browser sign-in: "Too many sign-in requests, try again in 15 minutes" is shown as the crew centre says it, and a short network or server hiccup while you approve no longer says the link expired.
- Your sign-in stays yours: a settings file found in Downloads or on the Desktop is used only when ACARS has no sign-in yet. If it belongs to another sign-in, ACARS asks before switching.
- Clearer messages: if the crew centre stops taking position reports (the booking was cancelled or has expired) or refuses your sign-in, ACARS says so in the log instead of retrying quietly all flight. The window no longer stays on "refreshing" after an unexpected answer (a hotel Wi-Fi page, for example).
- Closing the window during a flight now always keeps the flight on this computer: start ACARS again to continue it.
- Settings now live in a "VaerolyACARS" folder (vaeroly-acars on Linux): your sign-in, settings, saved PIREPs, a saved flight and flight logs are moved there by themselves the first time this version starts.
- Smaller fixes: settings are saved safely (readable only by you from the start), a saved PIREP is never sent again and again after a refusal, the sign-in is never passed on to another website on a redirect, and MSFS pauses in the air are now noticed.
2.8.16 · Stable, 1 Oct 2026
- X-Plane: a damaged data packet no longer stops tracking: a data packet from X-Plane that arrived cut short made ACARS stop reading the simulator. Now the damaged part is skipped and tracking carries on.
2.8.15 · Stable, 1 Oct 2026
- Browser sign-in wording: ACARS now says to type the code it shows into the crew centre page, then press Allow. The crew centre asks for the code instead of filling it in, so a sign-in link someone sends you can't connect their copy of ACARS to your account.
2.8.14 · Stable, 30 Sep 2026
- Go-arounds read right: going around is now logged ("Go-around, 1,000 ft above the ground"), and flying the circuit afterwards stays the approach. Before, the flight showed "Climb" all the way round, and at an airport above 10,000 ft a level-off in the circuit became "cruise" with a second top of climb.
- X-Plane on another PC: ACARS finds X-Plane by itself on the home network (from the announcement X-Plane sends every second), so it works when the simulator runs on a different computer. Nothing to set up; X-Plane on the same computer works as before.
- Unsent positions kept through a restart: positions the crew centre couldn't receive (no internet) are saved with the flight. If ACARS or the computer restarts, they are sent once the connection is back, at the times they were taken, so the live map and the PIREP track have no gap. Up to about 50 minutes are kept, before only 20.
2.8.13 · Stable, 29 Sep 2026
- Bad samples skipped: a position of exactly 0, 0 (the simulator still loading, or a read that failed) or an altitude above 65,000 ft is no longer recorded. Before, one such sample could draw a line across the map on the PIREP and move the touchdown off the runway, hiding the landing diagram.
2.8.12 · Stable, 29 Sep 2026
- No more "High speed approved" button: every stretch over 250 kt below 10,000 ft is now counted. If ATC or the SID/STAR allowed it, add a comment on the PIREP; staff can accept it when they review the flight.
- Clearer channel switch: picking a channel whose version is older than yours now says so ("Stable is version 2.8.2, older than yours. Switch back to it?"), and a failed update shows why.
- Development gets the newest build: testers on Development are never offered an older version than Beta's.
2.8.11 · Stable, 29 Sep 2026
- Transponder mode in the flight log: ACARS now records the transponder's mode (STBY, ALT, ON, TEST, GND) and logs each change, so the PIREP's timeline shows when you went to ALT and back to STBY. Works through FSUIPC, SimConnect and X-Plane.
2.8.10 · Stable, 29 Sep 2026
- PMDG readings are checked before they count: ACARS now records the PMDG 737/777 switches and compares them with the simulator's own, but the flight checks use the simulator's readings until test flights confirm PMDG's are right. No PMDG pilot gets a penalty from an untested reading.
- Steadier FSUIPC connection: reconnecting while the simulator loads is faster, and small differences in turbulence no longer move a flight to the old FSUIPC library.
- Add-on variables are read through an FSUIPC memory spot that pilots' own scripts rarely use.
- PMDG options files are edited without touching any other character in them.
- Remove from this computer also waits for PIREPs the crew centre refused, so none are lost.
- The Vaeroly panel answers only the simulator, not web pages open in your browser, and a second copy of ACARS can no longer take its place.
- Switching update channel works even when two channels carry the same version number.
2.8.9 · Stable, 29 Sep 2026
- Remove from this computer: a button under Options takes the Vaeroly panel out of MSFS, signs you out and deletes the app's settings and flight logs. Then delete the program file and nothing of Vaeroly is left. It waits until any PIREPs still on this computer have been sent.
2.8.8 · Stable, 29 Sep 2026
- Vaeroly panel inside MSFS: a Vaeroly ACARS button in the simulator's toolbar (MSFS 2020 and 2024) opens a small window with your flight, its phase, block time, altitude, speed, the checks tripped so far and the latest remarks, so you don't have to leave the simulator. ACARS adds the panel to MSFS by itself; it appears the next time you start the simulator. You don't do anything.
2.8.7 · Stable, 29 Sep 2026
- PMDG 737 and 777 read properly: in MSFS, ACARS reads the PMDG aircraft's own data (lights, transponder and gear lever; on the 777 also flaps, speed brake and parking brake), so those checks follow the real switches. The first time, ACARS switches the data on in the aircraft's options file by itself (a backup is kept); it counts from the next time you start the simulator. You don't do anything.
2.8.6 · Stable, 29 Sep 2026
- Changing update channel is safer: going back from Development or Beta to the normal version can no longer get stuck after an install that didn't finish, and an offer from a channel you just left disappears.
- The background readers for add-on switches always close their connection to the simulator when a flight ends, is stopped or fails, stop at once if FSUIPC stops answering, and never hold the app's old FSUIPC library.
2.8.5 · Stable, 29 Sep 2026
- Every add-on's switches, found by themselves: in MSFS with the free MobiFlight WASM module installed, ACARS asks for all of the loaded aircraft's own variables (iniBuilds, Fenix, PMDG, FlyByWire, any add-on), watches the ones that look like lights, transponder, flaps, gear, spoilers, brakes and engines, and sends which of them changed and when with the PIREP. You don't do anything; without the MobiFlight module nothing changes.
2.8.4 · Stable, 29 Sep 2026
- Add-on switches, learned by themselves: in add-on aircraft Vaeroly is learning about (Fenix, FlyByWire...), ACARS reads the add-on's own switch variables a few times during the flight and sends what it saw with the PIREP, so we can read those lights and switches properly. You don't do anything. The "Check add-on variables..." button from 2.8.3 is gone.
2.8.3 · Stable, 29 Sep 2026
- Updates: Stable, Beta or Development: pick the channel under Options. Changing it offers that channel's version, even an older one, so you can always go back to the normal version. Development is for testers the Vaeroly team chooses.
- ACARS talks to FSUIPC itself instead of through an old add-on library. While this is new, the old library is still inside as a backup: ACARS compares both every 30 seconds, and the flight carries on with the old one if anything looks different. Nothing changes for you; the PIREP says which one was used.
- Check add-on variables... (under Options): for add-on aircraft whose switches ACARS can't see yet. Type the add-on's variable names, load the aircraft and press Check to see whether FSUIPC7 answers. Nothing is sent; copy the result and send it to the Vaeroly team. It helps us add those add-ons' lights and switches.
- A flight log on your computer: every flight gets a text file with what the ACARS window showed, a position line once a minute and the PIREP's result. It carries on after a crash and stays after filing (the newest 30 are kept). Flight logs opens the folder.
2.8.2 · 28 Sep 2026
- A simulator crash mid-flight no longer ends the flight: when the simulator comes back somewhere else (a crash to desktop, a reload at the gate), ACARS waits until the aircraft is loaded where the flight was, instead of counting a landing at the new spot.
- Closing the command-line version with Ctrl+C keeps the flight so far; starting again carries on with it.
- The squawk code is read in MSFS, X-Plane and through FSUIPC, and a new code goes in the flight log once it has held for two seconds (7500, 7600 and 7700 are named).
- For add-on checks:
--lvar-check NAMEasks FSUIPC7 for an add-on's own variable and prints it (a test tool; nothing is sent).
2.8.1 · 28 Sep 2026
- Times from the crew centre's clock: the flight log and positions are stamped with Vaeroly's time, checked when tracking starts and every hour, so a computer clock that is off no longer shifts your flight's times.
- Simulator gaps count as paused: when the simulator stops answering during a flight (a freeze, a reload), that time is logged and counted as paused, not flown.
- Stall recovery goes in the flight log: the height lost and the speed when the warning stopped.
- Fewer position reports in a steady cruise (one every 30 s instead of 10 s); climbs, descents and phase changes are reported as before.
- Teach Vaeroly this aircraft: the window first watches the aircraft untouched for 30 s and leaves out any switch that changes by itself; it won't record flaps while paused or while they are still moving. After a flight in an aircraft Vaeroly doesn't know yet, ACARS offers to record it ("Not now" waits 30 days).
- ACARS tells the crew centre which checked aircraft profile it used.
2.8.0 · 29 Sep 2026
- Engines: an engine other than number 1 started first (engine 2 on many twins) now counts as engines running in MSFS and X-Plane, and the flight log names each engine as it starts and shuts down.
- Flaps named as on the real lever: Airbus 0, 1, 2, 3, FULL; Boeing UP, 1, 5, 15... and the E-Jets, CRJ, Dash 8 and ATR, when the simulator reports the same number of positions (otherwise a percentage as before).
- Teach Vaeroly this aircraft (Options): record an add-on's flap lever and which switches it really reports. Once checked by Vaeroly, every copy of ACARS uses it, so switches an add-on doesn't report never count against you.
- High speed approved button: when ATC or a SID/STAR allows more than 250 kt below 10,000 ft, press it; going faster is then logged with the approval and not counted. It ends by itself above 10,000 ft or on landing.
- Time acceleration: each step up (2×, 4×, 8×, 16×...) and the return to real time go in the flight log, not just the first step. It still counts once per episode.
- Quieter flight log: a level is recorded only once held for a minute (within 300 ft), so a short level-off for ATC on the climb or descent isn't logged, and small altitude wobbles no longer log top of climb / top of descent every few seconds. A step climb still gives a new top of climb; top of descent is logged once.
- No false position jumps with time acceleration: at 4× the aircraft really covers four times the distance; ACARS and the crew centre now allow for the rate used (which is still checked on its own).
- FSUIPC reads the transponder (FSUIPC7 7.5 or later; an FSUIPC that never sets it counts as "not reported", not "off").
- Crashes the simulator doesn't report count: touching down with the gear up, or faster than 250 kt. (MSFS reports a crash only with its crash detection on.)
- Finish flight after a crash or touch-and-go: coming back down seconds after lifting off again (a touch-and-go, or the simulator resetting after a crash) no longer puts the flight back to taxi out, so Finish flight works. If it can't finish yet, ACARS now says why instead of ignoring the button.
- Keep a flight to continue later: Stop tracking asks whether to keep the flight on this computer or throw it away, and Start tracking offers to continue a saved flight or start a new one (also after ACARS was closed).
- Checked against a second ACARS on the same flight, and fixed where they differed:
- "Detect automatically" connects to MSFS through SimConnect first (nothing to install), then FSUIPC.
- Waits for the aircraft to finish loading, then logs its starting state (fuel, weight, lights, brake).
- Pushback needs the aircraft to really move; taxi out needs the parking brake released and 5 s of movement; block off is dated from when it started moving.
- Take-off roll (fuel and weight) and lift-off (speed, pitch, bank) are logged; taxi in starts below 40 kt.
- A cruise level is recorded once held for a minute (porpoising under time acceleration included) and compared with the planned level; leaving it for the descent needs 400 ft; once descending, the flight only moves on. Final approach is logged below 2,000 ft above ground.
- Every simulation rate change is logged, with the time spent above 1×.
- Lights, pitot heat and transponder changes count once held 2 s, and are never logged twice.
- Fuel used runs from the take-off roll to touchdown; refuelling after block off is logged.
- 250 kt is judged below 9,800 ft; gear and flaps near the ground give the height above it and the speed.
- 40 samples a second close to the runway and just after touchdown, for the landing G peak; a sample every second on the take-off roll and below 2,000 ft for the track.
- Flap and gear overspeed are checked with FSUIPC and SimConnect too, from the type's placard speeds (A320 family, A330, 737, 777), once over the limit for 3 s. The beacon check is measured whenever the engines run.
- The aircraft check uses the aircraft's name when the simulator gives no type (a PMDG 737 booked as an A320 is now seen as different). The registration on the livery is recorded.
- Speed brake in flight is seen through FSUIPC from the spoiler surfaces.
- Ground contacts within 10 s of touchdown count as bounces of one landing (it was 5 s).
- Pitch, bank, vertical speed and the touchdown rate have one sign convention on every connection (SimConnect, FSUIPC, X-Plane), checked by a test that runs the same state through each.
- One rule to finish: at the gate the flight ends when the engines are shut down, or with Finish flight.
- Flaps are named for aircraft whose type ACARS only knows from the name (e.g. "FenixA320"), and when the simulator doesn't count the lever's positions.

- Linux: a Linux version (64-bit, for X-Plane) that updates itself like the Windows and Mac apps.
- Reads nav and taxi lights, pitot heat and the transponder (MSFS and X-Plane; FSUIPC: all but the transponder), notes their changes in the flight log, and checks them at take-off. The new checks count only if your airline gives them points.
- The aircraft check in the app knows the same aircraft families as the crew centre (A330, A350, E-Jets, CRJ, Dash 8 and ATR were missing).

- Options: Get beta versions (new features first) and Send error reports (off unless you tick it; never names, emails, file paths or keys).
- When your airline asks for a newer version, ACARS says so before the flight and offers the update or the download page, instead of a plain error.
- Updates are checked against a manifest signed by Vaeroly once the release key is in place.
- The flight ends when you shut down the engines at the gate (the parking brake alone never ended it; the text now says so).
2.5.0 · 26 Sep 2026
- Records more of how you fly: when each engine starts and stops, the flap setting at take-off, touchdown and parking, gear position at each touchdown, and the times of taxi, take-off, touchdown and block on.
- Airlines can score these (for example starting engines in order), when they turn it on.
2.4.0 · 26 Sep 2026
- New flight phases: boarding, pushback and approach.
- Logs spoilers, parking brake and stall warnings; flags unlimited fuel in MSFS.
- Positions that couldn't be sent while your connection was down are sent together when it's back, so the map has the whole flight.
- Shows the note the crew centre sends back after filing (for example your trip's next leg).
2.3.1 · 25 Sep 2026
- Buttons and text boxes are readable in every state (on Mac the Send button went blank under the mouse).
2.3.0 · 25 Sep 2026
- Reads which aircraft is loaded in the simulator and warns when it isn't the booked type.
- More detail near the ground (a point every second below 1,500 ft) and every touchdown, fuel at each stage, and taxi, air and paused times sent with the PIREP.
2.2.1 · 25 Sep 2026
- Security fixes for the updater and the saved settings file.
2.2.0 · 25 Sep 2026
- Status lines at the top: your account, the crew centre, the simulator and the flight being recorded.
- Finds the simulator by itself, reconnects after the simulator restarts, and rings a bell when it stops sending data mid-flight.
2.1.0 · 25 Sep 2026
- Updates itself: checks at start and every 6 hours, downloads the new version, checks it and restarts.
2.0.0 · 25 Sep 2026
- The whole flight is kept on your computer while you fly, so a crash or restart doesn't lose it, and it's sent with the PIREP when you finish.
