Safety reports
If your airline has switched on Safety reports, you can tell staff about something that happened on a flight: a go-around, an unstable approach, a bird strike, a near miss, a problem on the runway. It's private, and it never changes a flight's score or status.
Send a report
- Open Logbook → Safety reports.
- Under New report, pick What happened and, if it was on one of your flights, pick the Flight.
- Write Your report: when and where it happened, what you saw and what you did.
- Press Send report.
Only the staff who review your PIREPs can read it. They're told about it straight away.
Replies
Your reports are listed on the same page. Open one to read staff replies and answer them. You get a notification when staff reply. When staff have dealt with it they close it; you can still reply, and that opens it again.
For staff
Staff who can review PIREPs find the reports under Staff → Safety reports (only for the pilots of the hubs their role covers). Open shows the ones still to deal with; Needs a reply marks those where the pilot wrote last. Open a report to read it, reply, and press Close the report when it's done. A message you write goes out with it. Open it again brings a closed report back.
You can't answer your own report: another staff member has to.
Switch it on under Staff → Airline settings → Optional features → Safety reports.
